Circle the Date: CMoA to (re)Open Friday, June 5th

News
covid, reopening

After almost three months of quarantine and shelter at home, more Zoom meetings and virtual meetups than we can count, and  weeks of Aibo running loose in an empty museum (check out and subscribe to our YouTube Channel), Computer Museum of America is reopening to the public on Friday, June 5th.  As we look forward, with your ongoing involvement, we can withstand the challenges experienced from COVID-19.

The CMoA team has been preparing the facility and exhibit space for your safe return.  Staff has been trained on new procedures and protocols including the use of face masks/coverings, social distancing, occupancy regulations, and regular sanitizing.  We encourage but are not requiring visitors to wear masks.  CMoA will follow the recommended guidelines of the CDC and state and local government officials. Staff will have temperatures checked and are aware to stay home if exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.  For the latest information and protocols, visit our website.

We have added Fridays to our schedule during the summer months.  We imagine you are as eager as we are to add safe activities to your summer days, and we’re here for you.  Bring your family, friends, or work team to kick off the weekend.

Summer hours at CMoA:  Friday 12-5pm, Saturday 10-5pm, Sunday 12-5pm. CMoA will be open Saturday, July 4th, so stay tuned – we have something special planned to celebrate.  Fun fact: the movie Back to the Future was released on this weekend in 1985!

We will see you soon!
