Talking Tech – Reliving Apollo 11 with John Baumbusch

Join us for a special Talking Tech presentation celebrating the incredible story of Apollo 11, humanity’s first mission to land on the Moon.

You may remember our presenter, John Baumbusch, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, from his previous presentation about Apollo 8.  This program will explore the historic mission, the powerful Saturn V rocket, and the Apollo spacecraft that carried astronauts to the lunar surface. We’ll also look at what the Soviet space program was accomplishing during the Space Race and relive the excitement of the launch, lunar landing, and moonwalk through Walter Cronkite’s iconic CBS television coverage.
