Artificial Intelligence is everywhere! We hear about it on the news. It’s in our phones. Our kids are using it in school.
It seems like a brand new idea, but AI dates back to the 1950s. So why is it so common now? How did we get here? Where are we going with it? Find out from our March speaker, Sven Olensky. Sven works with AI as part of his day to day work at the Federal Reserve.
Sven D. Olensky is a seasoned Enterprise Security Architect with over three decades of experience in technology and cybersecurity. For the past decade, he has served at the Federal Reserve, leading initiatives in AI Security, Zero Trust, and cloud security to ensure the resilience of critical systems processing over $5 trillion daily. He develops innovative, context-aware solutions for complex challenges, including secure AI standards and advanced threat intelligence frameworks.
In his presentation, Sven will tell us about AI in a historical context giving insights into how AI evolved from early systems like ELIZA into the ubiquitous tool we see everywhere today. He’ll discuss some of the challenges and opportunities AI gives us along with how its role will change as we move into the future.
